Antico Palazzo di Città

In the heart of the historic Castello neighbourhood of Cagliari, this charming 14th century building was where city councillor meetings were held, from its founding up until the middle of the 20th century. The building is filled with historical significance and its present appearance in the Piedmontese Baroque style is the result of a restoration made in the 18th century, that preserved the main façade and its arched portal with the imposing coat of arms of Cagliari. Today, “Antico Palazzo di Città” (the former Town Hall) houses an art centre. The ceremony in this ancient building takes place in the evocative underground portion of the edifice, with its original medieval cobblestone floor and two Late Gothic arches.

The wedding ceremony will be held in the understory.
