The Bastion of Saint Remy

This location, which is undergoing renovation, will soon be available.

The Bastion of Saint Remy is an imposing Neo-Classical style building of the late 19th century, built on the ancient city walls, and is one of the city’s most precious monuments. It owes its name to the first Piedmontese viceroy, the Baron of Saint-Remy. The majestic staircase is crowned with the triumphal arch and overlooks a long tree-lined avenue. It is one of the most beautiful entrances to the historic town centre in the Castello neighbourhood. From the large panoramic Umberto I Terrace surrounded by antique buildings, you can enjoy of the most breath-taking views of the city, to the sea and beyond. Couples who choose this location can avail of the external colonnade, which can be accessed by the monumental staircase.
