This is a Replica WWI Model 1918 "Cut-out" German Camouflage Helmet. All painting and weathering were applied By Me, aged to look like a "Combat Worn" helmet. Nice & heavy as well solid construction. This was the final version of the WWI German helmets, the Cut-outs on the sides were to improve hearing. Skull & Bones as used by the Freikorps. Original M-1918 Cut-out helmets are considered extremely rare, this where a good replica comes in handy. Made of solid steel, leather liner & accurate looking leather chinstraps with steel hardware.
