I really like these bright headlamps. It’s taken me a little bit to become familiar with all of the different modes being controlled by one button, but I did. And one of the cool things about these is that the main part that has the light and the battery in it can be taken off of them. In the case that anyone would need or want to do so.The only other thing that I can think of mentioning, is that the instructions say that in order to make each headlamp functional, the battery cover needs to be unscrewed and the plastic piece needs to be taken off of the battery. I had already tried to turn one of them on before I read that, and it didn’t come on. So I figured that must be why. But when I opened the battery cover I didn’t see a plastic piece to take out of it. Come to find out, the battery cover just hadn’t been screwed on all of the way. Seems that they must have decided that a plastic piece wasn’t needed, since the battery cover can be unscrewed enough so that the battery can’t touch both of the contacts, and because the battery cover will still be on pretty snugly.That’s actually pretty awesome though. Because usually for bright lights like these, they always say to take the battery out when it’s not in use. I’m not exactly sure why, but I think it’s because it’s better for the battery maybe. But now, if you are someone who makes it a point to do that and plans to do so with one of these headlamps, then you don’t have to take the battery out of it or open it up and put a plastic piece over one of the contacts of the battery to do so. You can just unscrew the battery cover until the power button no longer turns the headlamp on.But even if that’s not important to you, it’s still good to know. Because when you’re not using one of these headlamps you can unscrew the battery cover on it until it doesn’t turn on. And then if someone goes to use it they’ll just assume that it doesn’t work or that the battery is dead. However, when YOU go to use it again, the battery will still be as charged as you left it. At least, you can hope that will deter others from using it, lol.
